The scratchpad is a temporary workspace to hold frequently used elements. It appears in the left sidebar above the libraries. If it is not visible, go to View > Scratchpad. To hide the scratchpad, click the “x” icon next to the name in the left sidebar.
Elements can be stored in the scratchpad two ways:
- Simply drag/drop from the workspace to the scratchpad area.
- Select an element in the workspace and click the “+” icon above the scratchpad area.
To insert elements into the workspace from the scratchpad, simply drag/drop from the scratchpad to the diagram.
